Justin Moore's Music Journey
Justin Moore started singing and playing music when he was in high school. After he graduated, he joined his uncle's band. In 2002, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, which is a big city for country music. There, he met a producer named Jeremy Stover. Jeremy introduced him to Scott Borchetta, who was starting a new record company called The Valory Music Co. Scott promised Justin a record deal if he was patient.
Early Career and First Album
In 2008, Justin Moore officially signed with Valory Music Group. This company is part of Big Machine Records. His first song played on the radio was "Back That Thing Up". It reached number 38 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Justin worked on his first album, which had a special promotion. Fans could choose their favorite songs online, and the most popular ones made it onto the album. His next song, "Small Town USA", became very popular in 2009.
On August 11, 2009, Justin released his first album, also called Justin Moore. He helped write nine of the ten songs on it. In 2011, Justin released the song "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away". This song became his second number one hit. It was the first song from his 2011 album, Outlaws Like Me. Other songs from this album, like "Bait a Hook" and "Til My Last Day", also did very well, with "Til My Last Day" reaching number one.
In 2013, Justin started recording his third album. The first song from it was "Point at You", which became a top hit. His third album, Off the Beaten Path, came out on September 17, 2013. The song "Lettin' the Night Roll" from this album became his fourth number one song in 2014.
