K.C. Collins, also known as Chris Collins, is a Canadian actor. He acts in movies, on TV, and even uses his voice for characters! He is famous for playing Hale in the TV show Lost Girl and Dr. Tom Reycraft in Saving Hope.

Early Life and Acting Journey

Starting with Baseball

K.C. Collins grew up in Canada. When he was young, his grandmother raised him from the age of six. He was very good at baseball! He even got a special scholarship to play baseball at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York. He chose this college so he could stay close to his grandmother. He had other offers from big universities like the University of Hawaiʻi and Florida State University, but he wanted to be near his family.

From Sports to Stardom

Even though he was a talented baseball player, K.C. Collins decided to follow a different dream. He left college to become an actor. This big decision led him to a successful career in film and television.

Famous TV Roles

K.C. Collins is well-known for his roles in popular Canadian TV shows. He played the character Hale in the supernatural drama Lost Girl. In this show, Hale was a loyal friend and a special creature called a "Faerie." K.C. was a main actor in Lost Girl from 2010 to 2014.

He also played Dr. Tom Reycraft in the medical drama Saving Hope. In this show, he was a doctor working in a hospital. He was a main actor in Saving Hope from 2012 to 2014.

Awards and Recognition

K.C. Collins has been recognized for his acting talent. In 2023, he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. This award was for his great performance as the character Keys in the movie White Dog (also known as Chien blanc).
