Kantaji Temple Dinajpur Bangladesh (12)

Kantojiu Temple (Bengali: কান্তজীউ মন্দির) at Kantanagar is a late-medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur District, Bangladesh. It was built by Maharaja Pran Nath; its construction started in 1702 and ended in 1752, during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath. It has one of the best examples of terracotta architecture in Bangladesh. It once had nine spires, but all were destroyed in an earthquake that happened in 1897.
