A karate gi is a standardized piece of karate clothing that acts as a uniform. Whether or not a student is ranked, one must bring a gi to the academy.
Components
A karate gi includes a martial arts jacket, as well as a martial arts pant.
The gi is white. The belt can be:
- White
- Yellow
- Purple
- Orange
- Green
- Blue
- Brown
- Black (sub-divided by dan)
