Karen Ramirez is a talented British singer known for her dance music. She was born in North London on November 21, 1971. When she was six years old, Karen moved to Trinidad and Tobago, a beautiful island country. After living there for some time, she returned to London to attend university.

Karen became famous in 1998 with her hit song "Looking for Love." This song was a cover version of "I Didn't Know I Was Looking for Love" by the group Everything but the Girl. "Looking for Love" was a huge success! It reached number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart, which tracks the most popular songs played in dance clubs. It also climbed to number 8 on the UK Singles Chart, showing its popularity in her home country.

Her second album, Bees in the Trees, was released in May 2006. It was available exclusively on iTunes.
