Kate Helen Craig-Wood (born February 1, 1977 – died September 22, 2020) was a British business leader in the world of information technology (IT). She was the co-founder and managing director of a company called Memset Dedicated Hosting. Kate Craig-Wood received many awards for her work. In 2012, she was listed as the 4th most influential woman in UK IT. She was also known for supporting energy-saving computer systems, encouraging more women to work in IT, and promoting acceptance for transgender people.

Kate Craig-Wood was very good at computers from a young age. She taught herself many computer languages and internet skills. After getting a master's degree in Biomedical Science, she started working as an IT consultant for a company called Arthur Andersen. Later, she became the head of business development for Easyspace Ltd., which was one of the biggest companies in the UK that provides web hosting. Web hosting is like renting space on the internet for websites to live.
In 2002, Kate left Easyspace and started her own company, Memset, with her brother, Nick. Memset grew very quickly. It became the first internet service provider (ISP) in Britain to be carbon neutral. This means the company worked to balance out the carbon dioxide it released into the air. Memset was voted the best UK Web host for six years in a row (from 2006 to 2011). The company also won awards for being new and creative, caring about the environment, and having smart IT plans.
Kate was a strong supporter of making computers use less energy. In 2008, she was a finalist for an award called "BlackBerry Women and Technology" for her smart use of technology in a small business. She was also a director at Intellect UK, which is a big trade group for high-tech companies in the UK. She led their group that focused on climate change. Kate also helped the British Computer Society with their efforts to make IT more environmentally friendly.
Kate stepped down as a director of Memset in August 2018. The company was sold in March 2020.
