Clesly Evandro Guimarães (born on April 28, 1975, in Barra Bonita), who is usually known as Kelly, is a Brazilian football coach and a former player. He played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped create scoring chances from the middle of the field. Today, he works as an assistant manager for the Portuguesa football club.

Kelly's Football Journey
Kelly had a long and interesting career in football, playing for many different teams in Brazil and other countries. He was known for his skills as an attacking midfielder, helping his teams score goals and win matches.
Playing Career Highlights
Kelly started his professional football career in Brazil with Bragantino in 1995. He quickly showed his talent, scoring many goals in his first few seasons. This early success caught the attention of teams outside Brazil.
Playing in Spain and Japan
In 1997, Kelly moved to Spain to play for Logroñés. After a short time there, he returned to Brazil. He then played for big Brazilian clubs like Flamengo and Atlético Paranaense. He spent several years at Atlético Paranaense, from 1998 to 2001, becoming a very important player for them.
One of the most exciting parts of his career was when he moved to Japan. From 2001 to 2004, Kelly played for FC Tokyo. He was a star player there, scoring 30 goals in 97 games. He helped FC Tokyo win the J.League Cup in 2004, which was a big achievement for the team.
Return to Brazil and Later Career
After his time in Japan, Kelly came back to Brazil. He played for Cruzeiro in 2005, where he continued to show his scoring ability. He then had a period playing in the United Arab Emirates for Al-Ain.
Towards the end of his playing career, Kelly returned to Brazil once more. He played for Grêmio in 2007 and had a final short spell with Atlético Paranaense in 2008 before retiring as a player.
Coaching Career
After hanging up his boots as a player, Kelly decided to stay in football as a coach. He started as an assistant manager for Athletico Paranaense from 2017 to 2019. He even took on the role of interim (temporary) manager for a short time in 2017.
Since then, he has worked as an assistant coach for several other well-known Brazilian clubs. These include Corinthians in 2020, Grêmio in 2021, and Ceará from 2021 to 2022. Currently, he is an assistant manager for Portuguesa, continuing to share his knowledge and experience with new generations of players.
