Kevin Sussman is an American actor and comedian. He is well-known for playing Walter in the TV show Ugly Betty. He also played Stuart Bloom in the popular TV comedy The Big Bang Theory. He became a regular actor on The Big Bang Theory starting from its sixth season.

Early Life and Education
Kevin Sussman was born on December 4, 1970. He grew up in Staten Island, New York. He has three brothers. Kevin went to Staten Island Technical High School and then graduated from New Dorp High School. He studied at the College of Staten Island for one year. After that, he went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan to study acting. He also learned acting from a famous teacher named Uta Hagen for four years.
Kevin Sussman's Acting Career
Kevin Sussman started his acting career by appearing in commercials. He often played characters who were a bit nerdy or geeky. At that time, he also worked as a computer consultant.
First Roles in Movies and TV
In 1999, Kevin made his first movie appearance in Liberty Heights. He played a character named Alan Joseph Zuckerman. Later, he moved to Los Angeles when he got a role in the TV show Ugly Betty. He played Walter in that series.
Becoming Stuart Bloom
From 2009 to 2019, Kevin Sussman played the character Stuart Bloom on the hit TV show The Big Bang Theory. Stuart owned a comic book store that the main characters often visited. He was a recurring character for a few seasons. Then, he became a regular cast member from season six until the show ended in May 2019. He appeared in 85 episodes of the show.
Other Projects and New Shows
Kevin Sussman has also worked on creating TV comedies. In 2011 and 2012, he teamed up with his The Big Bang Theory co-star John Ross Bowie. Together, they created two TV comedy shows. These were The Ever After Part for FOX and The Second Coming of Rob for CBS.
It was announced on July 9, 2025, that Kevin Sussman's new show was approved by HBO. The show is called "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe." It also stars Lauren Lapkus and Brian Posehn.

Kevin Sussman was married to Alessandra Young from 2006 to 2017. He married Addie Hall in April 2023.
