Khizi (Xızı) is a special region in Azerbaijan, much like a district. Its main town is also called Khizi. This area has the fewest people living in it compared to other regions in Azerbaijan.
Khizi is known for its amazing variety of natural places. You can find flat lands near the Caspian Sea where farms raise cattle and chickens. As you travel west, the land changes into dry, semi-desert areas with unique hills. Further west, you'll discover green, thick forests.
