Kids & Teens TV (also known as KTV) was a special TV channel made for Christian children and teenagers. It was run by a group called the Dominion Foundation. This foundation was started by Robert W. Johnson, who also created Sky Angel.
You could only watch KTV if you had Dish Network and were subscribed to Sky Angel's TV services.
What KTV Showed
KTV played a mix of different shows. It had programs for Christian kids and families. It also showed classic TV series that weren't religious, especially old western shows.
Sharing Shows with Smile of a Child
In October 2015, another kids' channel called Smile of a Child made a deal with KTV. Smile of a Child is part of TBN. For a while, KTV showed Smile of a Child's programs every day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET. This partnership lasted until June 30, 2017.
Why KTV Closed Down
KTV stopped broadcasting suddenly on January 31, 2019. Its sister channels, Angel One and Angel Two, also went off the air that day. This happened because Sky Angel, the company that owned KTV, closed down its operations completely.
