María Francisca "Kika" Silva Sánchez (born March 18, 1992) is a famous Chilean model and TV star. She is also an actress.

Early Life and School Days
Kika Silva was born in Santiago, Chile, on March 18, 1992. Her dad is Daniel Silva, and her mom, Francisca Sánchez, was a hockey player. Kika is the oldest of four children.
When she was in school at Nazaret School, Kika was part of the athletics team. But a back injury at age 14 made her stop playing sports. After finishing high school in 2010, she went to Universidad Andrés Bello to study physical education.
In 2012, Kika spent five months in Mexico to start her modeling career. She even worked with the well-known magazine Vogue Latin America. Later that year, she came back to Chile to work in television.
Kika's Career in TV
Kika Silva started her TV journey by hosting a show called Vía de escape on the channel Vive Deportes. After that, she joined the entertainment news program SQP. She is also a model and a panelist (a regular guest who shares opinions) on the morning show Bienvenidos on Canal 13.
Queen of Viña del Mar Festival
In 2017, Kika Silva won the title of Queen of the Festival at the LVIII International Festival of the Song of Viña del Mar. This is a very big music festival in Chile. She competed against Spanish model Gala Caldirola and Mexican singer Jass Reyes, winning by a close vote.
The traditional "piscinazo" (a dive into a pool by the queen) was planned for February 25. However, it was canceled due to safety concerns near the Hotel O'Higgins. Virginia Reginato, the mayor, gave Kika her crown. Kika also received a special ring with 32 diamonds and 20 emeralds.
