Kalyssa "Kiki" van Zanten (born August 25, 2001) is a professional soccer player. She plays as a midfielder for the Houston Dash team. This team is part of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Kiki was born in the United States. She plays for the Jamaican national team. Before becoming a pro, she played college soccer for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Kiki Van Zanten was born in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, USA. Her mother is from Jamaica, and her father is American with Dutch family roots. Soccer runs in her family! Her father played college football. One of her sisters, Brianna, played college soccer too. Her other sister, Mimi, also plays college soccer for Florida State.
Kiki's Club Soccer Journey
Kiki started her professional club career with the Houston Dash. She was chosen by the team in the 2024 NWSL Draft. This means she was picked as one of the best young players. She signed a contract with the team in March 2024.
Playing for Her Country: International Career
Kiki Van Zanten plays for the Jamaican national team. She made her first appearance for the senior team on February 17, 2022. This was during a World Cup Qualifiers match against Bermuda. She came into the game in the 63rd minute.
Kiki was part of the Jamaican team for the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship. This is a big tournament for women's soccer teams in North and Central America.
