Kim Allan Williams Sr. (born in 1954) is a famous American heart doctor, also known as a cardiologist. He's an expert in keeping hearts healthy. He even led a big group called the American College of Cardiology from 2015 to 2016. He is currently a trusted member of this organization.

Becoming a Heart Doctor
Kim Williams studied at the University of Chicago. He graduated in 1975. Later, in 1979, he earned his medical degree. This was from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Williams' Career
Dr. Williams is certified in many areas of medicine. These include general internal medicine and heart diseases. He also specializes in using special imaging tests. These tests help doctors see inside the body.
Teaching and Leading
He has taught at several medical schools. These include the Pritzker School of Medicine. He also taught at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Since 2013, he has been the head of the cardiology department. This is at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
