Kim Yeong-gi (Hangul: 김영기) is a South Korean professional footballer. He was born on January 24, 1985, in Himeji, Hyōgo, Japan. Kim Yeong-gi plays as a goalkeeper, which means his main job is to stop the other team from scoring goals.
Playing Career
Kim Yeong-gi started his football journey playing for Momoyama Gakuin University from 2003 to 2006. This is where he developed his skills before becoming a professional player.
Early Professional Years
In 2007, Kim Yeong-gi joined Shonan Bellmare, a Japanese football club. He played as a goalkeeper for them until 2012. During his time at Shonan Bellmare, he played in 94 league games.
Moving to New Teams
