Kimberley Crossman grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2006, she was a leader at her school, Diocesan School for Girls, in a place called Epsom.
Cheerleading and Dance
Kimberley is also a skilled dancer and cheerleader.
- In 2006, she danced in a show called Giselle with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
- She was the captain of a cheerleading team called Total Cheerleading Senior Elite in 2005. Her team traveled to the United States and placed 6th in the World cheerleading championships.
- In 2008, she went to the United States again with her team to compete in the World Cheerleading Championships.
- Her team, TCSE, also won the Down Under Spirit Championships in Australia in early 2008.

Starting on Shortland Street
In January 2007, Kimberley began her role as Sophie McKay on Shortland Street. This is one of New Zealand's most famous and longest-running TV shows. She left the show in March 2011. Even in 2006, fans of Shortland Street voted her as the "Best rising star."

- In 2008, Kimberley was in a short film called Beyond Belief. This film was part of a competition called 48HOURS.
- She also appeared in a special show for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in New Zealand.
- Kimberley starred as Stacey in the TV show Step Dave, which started on TVNZ2 in 2014.
