King Cinder is an exciting six-part British TV show for kids. The BBC made it in 1977. It first aired on BBC1 from November 2 to December 7, 1977.
The story follows two teenagers, Kerry and Nicky, as they face off against a group of criminals. Kerry, played by Peter Duncan, is a speedway bike rider. His girlfriend, Nicky, is played by Lesley Manville. They live in a made-up seaside town called Barton.
The bad guys are led by Todd Edwards, played by Michael Hawkins. His gang tries to force people to pay them money. The series ends with a big chase. Edwards, driving a red car, chases Kerry through a quarry. The chase finishes dramatically when Edwards' car goes over a cliff. Anna Home was the executive producer for the show.
