This station is part of the Glasgow Subway system. It is known for being the shallowest station in the entire subway network.

History of Kinning Park Station
Kinning Park station first opened its doors on 14 December 1896. It was one of the original stations in the Glasgow Subway system.
Modern Updates
The station was given a big makeover between 1977 and 1980. Even after these updates, it still has its original island platform design. An island platform means there is one platform in the middle, with tracks on both sides.
New ticket barriers were installed and started working on 10 July 2013. These barriers help manage who enters and exits the station.

Kinning Park station is not one of the busiest stations in the Glasgow Subway. It is used by fewer people compared to other stations.
