Knut Bohwim (born March 12, 1931 – died June 16, 2020) was a very important film director from Norway. He was known for making many popular movies, especially a series about a funny group of criminals called the Olsenbanden.

Knut Bohwim was a Norwegian film director. A film director is like the captain of a movie set. Bohwim was born in Oslo, Norway, and spent his life making films that entertained many people.
Starting His Film Career
Knut Bohwim started his own film company called Teamfilm A/S in 1962. He worked with others to create this company. His very first movie as a director was called Operasjon Sjøsprøyt, which came out in 1964.
He also directed a serious movie about war called Det største spillet in 1967. This film told the true story of a double agent named Gunvald Tomstad. A double agent is a spy who pretends to work for one side but secretly works for the other.

Knut Bohwim is most famous for directing twelve films in the Olsenbanden series. These movies were a huge success in Norway.
