Yaakov "Kobi" Marimi (Hebrew: קובי מרימי) is an Israeli singer and actor. He became famous when he represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. He sang his song "Home" in the competition, which was held in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Kobi Marimi's Early Life
Yaakov "Kobi" Marimi was born on October 8, 1991. He grew up in Ramat Gan, Israel. His parents are Dalit and Eli Marimi.
Kobi served as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces. This is the main military force of Israel. He also studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio. Today, Kobi lives in Tel Aviv.
Kobi's Journey in Music and Acting
While studying acting, Kobi performed in several plays. These included The Caucasian Chalk Circle and The Comic Illusion. He also appeared in a play called Prayer.
After finishing his studies, Kobi performed in more shows. These included Every Living Thing Needs and Chambaloo's Treasure. He played the role of Natan in a play called Messiah Now. For this role, he won the Promising Actor Award in 2017. This award was given at the Musical Celebrations in Bat Yam. This was also his first time performing with the Israeli Opera.
