Koei Co., Ltd. (also known as Koei) was a Japanese company that made, developed, and sold video games. They were known for creating many popular games, especially those based on historical events.
History of Koei
Koei was started in Japan in 1978. For many years, they created and published a variety of video games.
In 2009, Koei joined together with another video game company called Tecmo. When two companies join, it's called a merger. The new company was then named Tecmo Koei. This new company continued to make and sell video games.
