Kosuke Yatsuda (八田 康介, Yatsuda Kōsuke, born March 17, 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender for several teams in Japan's professional leagues.

Playing Career of Kosuke Yatsuda

Kosuke Yatsuda was born in Okawa, Japan, on March 17, 1982. After finishing high school, he began his professional football journey.

Early Years and Sanfrecce Hiroshima

In 2000, Yatsuda joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club in the top Japanese league, J1 League. For his first few years, he didn't play in many matches. In 2003, Sanfrecce Hiroshima was in the J2 League (the second division). That year, Yatsuda played many games as a central defender. His team then moved back up to the J1 League in 2004. However, he didn't get to play much in 2004.

Loan to Sagan Tosu and Other Clubs

In 2005, Yatsuda went on loan to Sagan Tosu, another J2 League club. A "loan" means a player temporarily moves to another team. He was a regular player for Sagan Tosu for the first half of that year. After returning to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2006, he again found it hard to get playing time.

In 2007, he moved to FC Tokyo, a J1 League team, but played only one match.

Yokohama FC and Later Career

Yatsuda joined Yokohama FC in the J2 League in 2008. Here, he became a regular player and played in many matches over two seasons. In 2010, he moved to Tokushima Vortis, another J2 club, but he didn't play in any games that season.

In 2011, he played for SC Sagamihara in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower divisions of Japanese football. He played in many matches there. His final club was Avispa Fukuoka in the J2 League in 2012, which was based in his home area. He did not play any matches for them and decided to retire from football at the end of the 2012 season.

Throughout his career, Kosuke Yatsuda played a total of 139 league matches and scored 5 goals.
