Kosuke Yatsuda (八田 康介, Yatsuda Kōsuke, born March 17, 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender for several clubs during his career.

Kosuke Yatsuda was born in Okawa, Japan, on March 17, 1982. He became a professional football player after finishing high school.

Early Career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima

Yatsuda joined J1 League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2000. In his first few years, he did not play many matches. In 2003, his team was in the J2 League. He played many games as a center-back that year. His strong play helped the club get promoted back to the J1 League in 2004. However, he played very few matches in 2004.

Loan to Sagan Tosu

In 2005, Yatsuda moved to Sagan Tosu, a J2 League club, on a temporary loan. He was a regular player in the defense for the first half of the season. After that, he played less often.

Moving Between Clubs

  • In 2006, he returned to Sanfrecce Hiroshima but did not play much.
  • In 2007, he joined FC Tokyo, a J1 League team. Again, he found it hard to get playing time.
  • In 2008, he moved to Yokohama FC in the J2 League. Here, he became a regular player and played many matches for two seasons.
