Kutkabubba is a small Aboriginal community in Western Australia. It is located about 40 kilometers north of the town of Wiluna. This community is part of the Mid West region and falls within the Shire of Wiluna area. In 2011, about 40 people lived in Kutkabubba.
Understanding Native Title
The Kutkabubba community is located in an area with a native title claim. This claim is known as the Wiluna (WAD6164/98) claim. Native title means that Aboriginal people have special rights to their traditional lands and waters. These rights come from their traditional laws and customs. How Kutkabubba is Managed
The Kutkabubba community is managed by its own group called the Kutkabubba Aboriginal Corporation. This group used to be known as the Kukabubba Aboriginal Corporation.
