How the Kyiv Post Started

The Kyiv Post newspaper was created by an American named Jed Sunden. He started it on October 18, 1995, in Kyiv, which is the capital city of Ukraine.

Becoming an Online Newspaper

In 1997, the Kyiv Post also started an online version. This meant people could read the news on the internet, not just in print. The newspaper shares stories about politics (how the country is run), business (money and companies), and fun entertainment.

Who Works at the Kyiv Post?

As of 2020, about 50 people worked for the Kyiv Post. Most of them, 40 journalists, were from Ukraine, and 10 were from other countries. They all worked together to bring important news to readers.
