László Bodnár is a former professional football player from Hungary. He was born on February 25, 1979, in Mátészalka. László played as a right back, which is a defensive position in football. He played for many different clubs in countries like Hungary, Ukraine, the Netherlands, and Austria. He also played 45 times for the Hungarian national football team.
Playing Career
László Bodnár started his football journey in Hungary. He played for several teams throughout his career. He was known for his skills as a right back.
Early Years in Hungary
László began his professional career with Debreceni VSC in Hungary. He played there from 1996 to 2000. During this time, he gained valuable experience on the field. He played in 63 matches and scored 4 goals for the club.
Moving to Ukraine
In 2000, László moved to Ukraine to play for Dynamo Kyiv. This was a big step in his career. He stayed with Dynamo Kyiv until 2004. While there, he played 51 matches and scored 3 goals. He also spent some time playing for their reserve teams, Dynamo-2 Kyiv and Dynamo-3 Kyiv. In 2004, he was loaned to Arsenal Kyiv for a short period.
Time in the Netherlands and Austria
After his time in Ukraine, László played for Roda JC in the Netherlands from 2004 to 2006. He was a strong player for them, appearing in 38 matches and scoring 8 goals.
He then moved to Austria to join Red Bull Salzburg. He played there from 2006 to 2009. During this period, he played 64 matches and scored 2 goals. He also had a brief stint with their junior team, Red Bull Juniors.
Return to Hungary and Later Career
