La Gloria is a small place in Starr County, Texas, United States. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's not officially a city or town with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county area.
La Gloria is located in the northeastern part of Starr County. You can find it where two roads meet: Farm Road 755 and Farm Road 1017. These "Farm Roads" are special roads in Texas that connect farms and rural areas to bigger towns. La Gloria is about four miles northeast of a place called San Isidro.
This area is mostly made up of large farms and ranches. Many of these ranches were first set up a long time ago. They were created from "land grants" given by the Spanish and Mexican governments in the 1700s and 1800s. Some of the families who received these original land grants still live there today. In the year 2000, about 102 people lived in La Gloria.
