Ladies' Code (Korean: 레이디스 코드) is a popular South Korean K-pop girl group. They were formed in 2013 by Polaris Entertainment and 1TheK. The group first started with five talented members. These members were Ashley, Sojung, EunB, RiSe, and Zuny. Their very first album was called Code#01.
Early Success and Awards
Ladies' Code quickly gained attention after their debut. They showed off their unique music style. The group won two important awards early in their career. They received the New Artist of the Year award at the Gaon K-Pop Chart Awards. They also won the MBC Music Star Award at the Melon Music Awards. These awards showed their growing popularity.
Becoming a Trio
In September 2014, the group faced a very sad event. They were involved in a car accident. Sadly, two members, EunB and RiSe, passed away. This was a very difficult time for the group and their fans. After this event, Ladies' Code continued as a trio. The remaining members were Ashley, Sojung, and Zuny. They bravely kept performing and releasing music.
