Lætitia Masson (born August 18, 1966) is a French film director and screenwriter. She has directed many films since 1991. Her movie For Sale was shown at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. This festival is a very important event for movies.
About Lætitia Masson
Lætitia Masson grew up in Nancy, France. Her parents were teachers who loved movies. She saw her first film by a famous director, Jean-Luc Godard, when she was only seven. Her father was an amateur filmmaker. He was inspired by a style of movies called New Wave cinema. This love for film likely led her to study literature and cinema in Paris. Later, she went to La Fémis, a well-known film school. She finished her studies there in 1991.
