Lalita Panyopas, also known by her nickname Mew (Thai: หมิว), is a famous actress from Thailand. She was born on October 5, 1971. Mew is well-known for her many roles in Thai movies and TV shows. She is especially loved for her parts in lakorn, which are like popular soap operas in Thailand.

Lalita Panyopas: Her Acting Journey
Lalita Panyopas started acting in movies in the late 1980s. She also became a lead actress in many Thai soap operas. These TV shows were very popular from the late 1980s to the early 2000s.
Famous Movie Roles
One of her most important movie roles was playing Tum. This was the main character in the 1999 film Ruang Talok 69. The movie was directed by Pen-Ek Ratanaruang.
In 2007, Lalita worked with director Pen-Ek again. She starred in his film Ploy. This movie was shown at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. It was part of a special section called the Director's Fortnight.
