Lamaní is a small town, or municipality, located in the country of Honduras. It's part of the Comayagua area. You can find Lamaní about 25 minutes away from the city of Comayagua, near a place called Piedra Parada Mountain.

Life in Lamaní
Many people in Lamaní own farms. They raise animals like cows. Farmers also grow many different crops. These include rice, beans, corn, coffee, tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants.

El Día De La Virgen del Carmen
The other main celebration is called El Día De La Virgen del Carmen. This day honors the patron saint of Lamaní. It is celebrated in a similar way to Christmas.
