Lancashire Book of the Year facts for kids
The Lancashire Book of the Year is a special award for amazing books written for young people. It started in 1987 and used to be called the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year. What makes this award super cool is that young people just like you get to choose the winning book! A group of young judges reads the books and votes for their favorite. This award is organized by the library service of Lancashire County Council and gets support from the University of Central Lancashire.
