A Champion Skier

Lars-Arne Bölling achieved great success in cross-country skiing. He won the challenging Vasaloppet race twice. He first won this famous race in 1970 and then again in 1972. The Vasaloppet is one of the oldest and longest cross-country ski races in the world.

National Titles

He also became a Swedish national champion many times. He won the 15-kilometer race in 1970. In 1973, he won the 30-kilometer race. He was also a champion in the 50-kilometer race in both 1970 and 1971.

Lars-Arne was also part of very successful relay teams. He helped IFK Mora win the Swedish national relay championship from 1970 to 1973. In 1974, he won the same relay title with a different club, Orsa IF.

International Races and Awards

In 1970, Lars-Arne Bölling received the Sixten Jernberg Award. This award recognizes top Swedish cross-country skiers.
