Lauryn Eagle, born on December 11, 1987, is an amazing Australian athlete. She is known for being a professional boxer and a champion in water skiing. Lauryn also appeared on the TV show The Celebrity Apprentice Australia. Before all that, she was crowned Miss Teen International in 2004.

Early Life

Lauryn Eagle was born in Randwick, New South Wales. Her parents, Peter and Kerrie Eagle, were both water skiers. Her father, Peter, was a 10-time Australian water skiing champion. Lauryn's sister, Sarah, also came second at the 2007 World Championships.

Lauryn started learning to ski when she was just four years old. By the age of nine, she was already racing. Sadly, when Lauryn was 20, her father died in a boating accident.

Water Skiing Champion

Lauryn achieved great success in water skiing. In 2003, she finished second in the Junior Division. Then, at the 2005 World Championships, she won the women's title in the F2 class.

In 2006, Lauryn won both the Australian Speed Championships (Under 19) and the Australian Marathon Championships (Under 19). She then placed third at the 2007 World Championship in the Formula 1 Division. After her father's death in 2008, Lauryn took a break from racing. However, she returned in 2009, finishing third at the World Championships. In 2011, she placed seventh after a big fall.

Boxing Career

Lauryn decided to try boxing and became a professional boxer in 2010. In her first year, she won two fights and had one draw. In 2011, she had two close losses.

On July 13, 2012, Lauryn won the World Boxing Foundation women's super featherweight title. She defeated Kiangsak Sithsaithong in the fifth round. This win improved her boxing record.

In September 2012, Lauryn fought New Zealand's Nicki Bigwood. She won this six-round fight by a unanimous decision. On January 30, 2013, she won another title. Lauryn beat Nadine Brown to become the Australia female lightweight champion.

Modeling and Media

Besides sports, Lauryn also loves modeling. In 2005, she won the Miss Teen Australia title. She also won Miss Congeniality at the same event.

Later, she went to Costa Rica for the Miss Teen International competition. Lauryn won the main title, Miss Teen International. She also won awards for Most Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, and Best Silhouette.

Lauryn was a contestant on the second season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia. She made it to the final episode, finishing in fourth place. She also appeared on the front cover of Maxim magazine in August.
