Lauryn Eagle (born December 11, 1987) is a famous Australian athlete known for being a champion in two very different sports: water skiing and boxing. Besides her success in sports, she has also appeared on TV shows and won an international beauty pageant.

Early Life and Family

Lauryn Eagle was born in Randwick, New South Wales, to her parents Peter and Kerrie Eagle. She grew up in a family that loved water skiing. Her father, Peter, was a 10-time Australian champion in the sport. Her sister, Sarah, also became a talented water skier, winning second place at the World Championships in 2007.

Lauryn started learning to water ski when she was only four years old and began competing in races at age nine. When she was 20, her father sadly passed away in a boating accident in Sydney Harbour.

A Champion on the Water

Lauryn quickly became a star in water skiing. In 2005, she won the world championship title in the F2 class, a major achievement for a young athlete. The next year, she won two Australian championships for her age group.

In 2007, she competed in the top Formula 1 division and finished third in the World Championship. After her father's death in 2008, she took a short break from racing. However, she returned in 2009 and continued to compete at a high level, placing third at the World Championships that year.

Career in the Boxing Ring

In 2010, Lauryn decided to start a new career as a professional boxer. She quickly showed her talent in the ring.

On July 13, 2012, she won the World Boxing Foundation women's super featherweight title. This was a huge victory that improved her professional record.

The following year, on January 30, 2013, she won another important title. She became the Australian female lightweight champion after defeating Nadine Brown in a match at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

Media and Modeling

Lauryn also explored her interest in modeling and working in the media.

In 2005, she won the Miss Teen Australia pageant. She then traveled to Costa Rica for the Miss Teen International competition and won the main title, along with awards for being the most photogenic and having the best personality.

In 2012, she appeared on the TV show The Celebrity Apprentice Australia. She did very well, making it all the way to the final episode and finishing in fourth place. She has also been featured on the cover of magazines.
