This skatepark is huge! It covers more than 40,000 square feet (about 3,700 square meters). That makes it one of the biggest skateparks in all of Texas. It's a perfect spot for skateboarders to practice and have fun.

What Makes It Awesome?

The Jamail Skatepark has many cool features for all skill levels.

  • It has two special curved areas called "cradles." One of these cradles is believed to be the largest in the entire United States!
  • You'll also find a "kidney pool," which is shaped like a kidney bean and great for smooth rides.
  • There's a big bowl with a deep end that goes down 12.5 feet (about 3.8 meters).
  • The park also has a "street/flow area." This section is designed to feel like street skating, with obstacles like ledges, stairs, and rails.

The park was designed by experts at Gridline Concrete Skatepark Design. It's completely free for everyone to use! Just remember, BMX bikes are not allowed here.

Who Are Lee and Joe Jamail?

The skatepark is named after a very generous couple, Joe Jamail and his wife Lee. Joe Jamail was a famous lawyer from Texas. Their support helped make this amazing park possible for the community.
