The Story of Lees Lick
In the year 1877, Lees Lick was described as a very small settlement. It had only one store, which was probably a very important place for the people living there to buy supplies.
Later, in 1888, a special office was opened in Lees Lick. This was a post office, where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office was called "Leeslick." It helped connect the community to the rest of the country. However, the post office did not stay open forever. It stopped operating in 1901.
