In 1996, the "Morrissey Edmiston" label ended. Leona then decided to start her own fashion company. In 2001, she launched her solo brand, simply called Leona Edmiston. She started this new adventure with her husband, Jeremy Ducker.

Leona Edmiston has shown her amazing designs at big fashion events. She presented her collections at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Later, in 2008 and 2009, she held special private showings of her new clothes.
