Leopoldo Brizuela (born June 8, 1963 – died May 14, 2019) was an important writer, journalist, and translator from Argentina. He was born in the city of La Plata in 1963.
Leopoldo Brizuela won many literary awards for his work. One of his most famous achievements was winning the 2012 Premio Alfaguara for his novel Una misma noche. As a translator, he helped bring the stories of American writers like Henry James, Flannery O'Connor, and Eudora Welty to Spanish readers.
