Leslie Hope is a talented Canadian actress and director. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. These include playing Teri Bauer in 24 and prosecutor Anita Gibbs in Suits. She has also appeared in many other films and TV series. Some of her recent works are The Strain (2015), Lost in Space (2019–2021), and Snowpiercer (2021–22).

Leslie Hope was born on May 6, 1965. Her birthplace is Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents are Ann and Frank Hope. She also has a brother named Stephen.
She finished school at St. Michael's University School. This school is in Victoria, British Columbia. She graduated in 1982. Leslie Hope has been married twice. She has a son named MacKenzie with her first husband, Jamie Angell.
Her Journey in Acting
Leslie Hope began her acting career in Canada. Her very first movie role was in 1981. It was for a Canadian film called Ups and Downs. This movie was filmed in Victoria. In 1982, she also worked behind the scenes. She had a small part in the film Love Streams.
Famous Roles in TV Shows
Leslie Hope has starred in many TV shows. In 1985, she played Cammie Springer in Berrenger's. She also appeared in the miniseries War and Remembrance in 1987.
A big role for her was Teri Bauer. This was in the first season of the TV series 24 (2001–02). She also played Kira Meru in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Kira Meru was the mother of a main character, Kira Nerys.
From 2003 to 2004, she was Agent Lisa Cohen. This was in the show Line of Fire. She also played Melanie Blackston. This character was the Attorney General of the United States. She appeared in Commander in Chief. In 2006, she was Lily Rader in Runaway.
More recently, she played Joan Luss in The Strain (2014). She also had a repeating role in NCIS. There, she played Secretary of the Navy Sarah Porter. Many people know her as prosecutor Anita Gibbs. This role was in the legal drama Suits. She also played a psychic medium, Kristina Frye, in The Mentalist.
