Playing Junior Football

Liam started playing junior football at the Lajamanu Football Club. This club plays in the Katherine District Football League. In 2008, he helped the Lajamanu Swans win a championship. This was a great start to his football journey.

After his success, Liam moved to the Wanderers Football Club. He played for them in the Northern Territory Football League in 2009. Even though he wasn't picked in the main 2009 AFL draft, the Gold Coast Football Club noticed him.

Joining the Gold Coast Suns
