Lianhu District facts for kids
Lianhu District is a part of Xi'an, a big city in Shaanxi province, China. It's located in the central-northwest area of Xi'an. The district gets its name from a beautiful place called Lianhu Park, which means "Lotus Lake Park." This district is also important because it's where the main government offices for Xi'an are located.
Lianhu District covers an area of about 38.32 square kilometers (about 14.8 square miles). In November 2010, nearly 700,000 people lived there, making it a busy and lively part of the city.
