The Lincoln MKT is a luxury crossover. This vehicle was first made in 2009 for the 2010 model year. The vehicle can seat six or seven people. The MKT is built on the Ford D4 platform and serves as the luxury counterpart to the Ford Flex and Explorer. The MKT replaces the Lincoln Town Car as well as the midsize Aviator SUV and slots between the fullsize Navigator SUV and MKZ midsize crossover SUV. Sales of the model have been slow and production is planned to end in 2017, it's not yet known if it will be replaced.
