Linda passed away at the age of 48. At that time, her artwork was being shown at the Harris Gallery in Houston, Texas. She also had a painting called "Still Life with Trout" in a national art show called Watercolor Now II. This painting won first place after she passed away in 1990.

Her artwork has also been displayed at the University of Phoenix campus in Austin.
