Linda Maria Elisabeth Thelenius (born Linda Gedin on 21 January 1974 in Västerås, Sweden) is a Swedish model and singer. She was also known as Linda Rosing for some time. Linda became well-known in Sweden when she was a housemate on the TV show Big Brother in 2003. Since then, she has written a book, led a political party, and appeared in many other reality television shows. She has been married to Peter Thelenius, a singer from the band Basic Element, since 2010.

Linda Thelenius's Career

TV Shows and Modeling

After being on Big Brother, Linda worked as a model for magazines. She also appeared in several television shows. In 2009, she had her own dating show on Kanal5 called Den rätte för Rosing. She also participated in the game show Sanningens Ögonblick in 2008 and Wipeout in 2009. In 2011, Linda and her daughter Melissa were on the show Det Okända on Sjuan. They sought help for strange activities in their apartment.

Music Journey

Linda Thelenius released her first song, "Summer Love", in 2004. However, the song did not become a big hit. In late 2006, Linda announced she would try music again. This time, she used the new name Bionda. Her first song under this name, "Forget Me, Forget Me Not", came out on December 12, 2006. To avoid problems with an older Italian band called La Bionda, Linda decided to legally change her name to Linda Bionda.

In April 2007, Linda told the Aftonbladet newspaper that she would stop making music. But a few months later, she said she might join a national competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. She later changed her mind again, saying she did not want to sing live.

Becoming a Politician

On August 3, 2006, Linda Thelenius announced she would get involved in politics. She became the leader of a new Swedish political group called the Unique Party. To get into the Riksdag, which is the Swedish Parliament, a party needed at least 4% of the votes. Linda helped collect many ballots, but her party did not reach the needed amount.

In the 2006 election, the Unique Party received 222 votes. Linda told the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper that her party was happy with the result. She also said she would continue to be the party's leader. However, on April 9, 2008, Linda wrote on her blog that she had not taken the political project seriously. She said there were never real plans to get into the Riksdagen. She also mentioned that she came up with the party's name herself.

Linda Thelenius's Personal Life

In 2006, Linda Thelenius became an author. She released her autobiography, a book about her life, called Den nakna sanningen. She wrote this book with journalist Daniel Nyhlén.

Linda has one daughter and one son from two earlier relationships. On December 7, 2009, Linda and her husband Peter Thelenius welcomed their first child together, a son. The couple got married on July 24, 2010. After their marriage, Linda changed her last name from Rosing to Thelenius. She has also completed a course to become a flight attendant.
