Linda Maria Elisabeth Thelenius (born Linda Gedin on January 21, 1974, in Västerås, Sweden) is a Swedish model and singer. She was also known as Linda Rosing. Linda became well-known in Sweden after she was a housemate on the TV show Big Brother in 2003. Since then, she has released a book, been a leader for a political party, and appeared in several other reality television shows. She has been married to Basic Element singer Peter Thelenius since 2010.

Reality Television Appearances

Linda Thelenius became a familiar face to Swedish TV viewers when she was on Big Brother in 2003. The show was broadcast on Kanal5. After her time on Big Brother, she also worked as a model.

She took part in Michael Brinkenstjärna's television show Team Paparazzia alongside Meral Tasbas. In 2009, she had her own dating show on Kanal5 called Den rätte för Rosing. She also appeared on the game show Sanningens Ögonblick in 2008 and on Wipeout in 2009. In 2011, Linda and her daughter Melissa were on the paranormal show Det Okända on Sjuan to seek help with unusual activity in their apartment.

Music Career Efforts

Linda Thelenius released her first music single, "Summer Love", in 2004. However, the song did not become a hit. In late 2006, Linda announced that she would try music again under a new name, Bionda. Her first single with this new name, "Forget Me, Forget Me Not", was released on December 12, 2006. To avoid a legal issue with a 1970s Italian band called La Bionda, Linda decided to legally change her name to Linda Bionda.

In April 2007, Linda told the Aftonbladet newspaper that she would not continue with music. However, a few months later, she mentioned that she would participate in a country's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She later changed her mind, saying she did not want to perform live.

Involvement in Politics

On August 3, 2006, Linda Thelenius announced that she would enter politics. She became the party leader of the newly formed Swedish Unique Party. According to Aftonbladet newspaper, Linda helped gather 203,000 votes. A minimum of 255,000 votes was needed for a party to pass the 4% barrier and enter the Riksdag, which is the Swedish national parliament.

In the 2006 Swedish general election, the Unique Party received 222 votes. In an interview with Svenska Dagbladet, Linda stated that her party was happy with the result. She also said she would continue to be the party's leader. However, on April 9, 2008, Linda wrote in her blog that she had never taken the political project seriously. She claimed there were no real plans for the party to enter the Riksdagen. She also said she came up with the party's name herself.

Web Series Project

During the summer of 2007, Linda Thelenius and her then-boyfriend Fadde Darwich worked on a web series project. It was called "The ... Tour, with Linda and Fadde". The original plan was to film 20 episodes. In the end, only three episodes were filmed and shown on the couple's personal website.

Linda Thelenius's Personal Life

In 2006, Linda Thelenius became an author. She released her autobiography titled Den nakna sanningen (The Naked Truth). She wrote this book with host and journalist Daniel Nyhlén.

Linda Thelenius has one daughter and one son from two earlier relationships. She was in a relationship with Fadde Darwich. On December 7, 2009, Linda and her husband Peter Thelenius welcomed their first child together, a son. The couple got married on July 24, 2010. At that time, Linda changed her last name from Rosing to Thelenius. She also completed a course to become a flight attendant.

Linda has spoken about having cosmetic procedures in the past. She mentioned that she had her first procedure to change her appearance at age 23. She has also said she had procedures on her lips. However, she has stated that she now regrets having these surgeries.
