Meral Izabelle Tasbas was born on April 4, 1979. She is a Swedish television star, singer, actress, and TV host. Meral became well-known for being on the reality show The Bar. She was a contestant on all five seasons from 2000 to 2004 on TV3. She also hosted her own TV show called Meral-TV. Meral has acted in movies and released a song called "Versene."

Meral's TV Career
Becoming Famous on The Bar
Meral Tasbas became very famous when she was on the reality show The Bar. She was on the Swedish TV3 version of the show from 2000 to 2004. Meral was a favorite among fans. She even appeared on the Turkish version of The Bar too.
In 2000, Meral was in the news after a hot air balloon ride. She was with Norwegian pastor Runar Søgaard. They almost crashed into a powerline! Meral had won the ride by completing tasks on The Bar.
Other Reality Shows and Hosting
Meral Tasbas has been on other reality shows too. She was in Club Goa and spent one night as a guest in the Big Brother house in 2003. She also took part in the Swedish show 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow.
In 2002, Meral hosted her own talk show on TV3 called Meral-TV. Later, in 2011, she appeared on a Turkish talk show called Arim Balim Petegim. In 2016, she was on Realitystjärnorna på godset with other TV stars.

Meral Tasbas was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her family is from Turkey. She married Emil Kokot on April 14, 2004. She was on the show Club Goa in India in 2005. Meral had to leave the show for personal reasons. She and Emil Kokot divorced not long after.
In 2011, Meral gained attention when she was seen with American actor John Cusack. They showed interest in each other.
