List of Ottoman conquests, sieges and landings facts for kids
The Ottoman Empire was a powerful state that lasted for over 600 years, from the late 1200s until after World War I. During its long history, the Ottomans were involved in many important battles, especially sieges (when an army surrounds a city or castle to capture it) and landings (when troops arrive by sea).
