Main Characters
Mametchi
Mametchi is a super smart and kind Tamagotchi. He's the main character of the Tamagotchi! series. Born on November 23, he loves to invent things that help his friends. Sometimes his inventions might explode, but he always means well! Mametchi isn't the best singer or painter, but his friend Melodytchi loves his singing anyway. His best friends are Memetchi and Kuchipatchi, and they've been close since they were little. He's also good friends with Lovelitchi and has a friendly rivalry with KuroMametchi. Himespetchi has a secret crush on him, but he just sees her as a good friend.
Mametchi is always ready to help. He forgave Lovelitchi for keeping her secret identity, created special "Tama-Profies" to store feelings, and even helped save Tamagotchi Planet from a big egg curse! Later, he moved to Dream Town with Memetchi and Kuchipatchi. He stayed with an old Tamagotchi named Ikaritchi, who became much nicer thanks to Mametchi. He also helped Miraitchi and Clulutchi find lost "Dreambakutchis." In the end, Mametchi invented the "DreamTama Rainbow," a cool submarine that lets everyone travel all over Tamagotchi Planet!
Lovelitchi/Lovelin
Lovelitchi, also known as Lovelin, is the most famous young pop star on Tamagotchi Planet! She was born on September 10. Lovelitchi is a bit shy but very kind. She loves meeting new people and making friends. Being a big celebrity can make her nervous sometimes because she has so many fans. Her friends always help her be brave. She loves to sing, dance, and try new outfits. Lovelitchi's dad runs a photo shop, and her mom runs the Tama Cafe. She also has a little brother named Lovesoratchi.
Lovelitchi lives a secret double life as Lovelin to keep her true identity hidden. As Lovelin, she's super confident and loves her fans. She stars in many TV shows and movies. Her songs are famous all over Tamagotchi Planet! Sometimes, her popularity made other kids jealous, and they tried to use her. But when she moved to Tamagotchi School, Mametchi and his friends welcomed her. They later found out her secret and promised to protect it.
She often works with Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi on her shows. She and Mametchi have special feelings for each other. She became best friends with Melodytchi after seeing her perform. Lovelitchi was away for a while when Mametchi and his friends moved to Dream Town, but she came back in GO-GO Tamagotchi!
Memetchi
Memetchi is the older sister in the Meme Family, born on October 10. She's been best friends with Mametchi and Kuchipatchi since they were toddlers. Memetchi is very girly and loves fashion. She's super proud of the curly hair on her head and gets upset if anyone makes fun of it. She can get angry sometimes, but she's also a crybaby if she's bullied. Memetchi loves fashion and sometimes competes with Makiko to see who has the best curls. But for Memetchi, friendship is always more important than how she looks.
Memetchi has a special power with her curls! She can use them to sense things around her and find the right path. But if her curls get damaged or wet, she might get lost. Later, she moved to Dream Town with Mametchi and Kuchipatchi to study hairdressing. She stayed at a famous salon called Salon De Dream and also plays the saxophone for a band called the Kira Kira Girls. She reunited with her old friends in GO-GO Tamagotchi!
Kuchipatchi
Kuchipatchi is the older brother to the Chibipatchi twins, born on May 18. He's been best friends with Mametchi and Memetchi since they were little. Kuchipatchi is a bit silly and very relaxed, but also a bit lazy. He often ends his sentences with "tchi." He absolutely loves food and can't stop eating once he starts!
Even though he looks big, Kuchipatchi is super flexible! He can move his body like rubber, morph into a ball, or stretch himself. Later, he moved to Dream Town with Mametchi and Memetchi to become a great cook. He stays at a Chinese restaurant called Dream Hanten and is learning to cook like a pro. He reunited with his old friends in GO-GO Tamagotchi!
Telelin
Telelin is Lovelitchi's special cellphone, given to her by her parents when she became an idol. In one adventure, Telelin came to life when her power was needed to save the planet! After that, she became a main character. She has a funny personality and often says unexpected things, which makes Lovelitchi scold her. Telelin also believes in ghosts and spooky things. Lovelitchi usually carries her in her bag.
Melodytchi
Melodytchi is a famous violinist from Melody Land, born on December 29. She's Lovelitchi's best friend. Melodytchi is very outgoing, fun, and confident. She loves doing activities with her friends, but sometimes she gets a little too excited! She's also very positive and cheers people up when they're sad. Melodytchi works for TAMAX TV and often performs with Lovelin. Her parents are famous singers and composers. She can even speak English!
Melodytchi often wears a black hat, and when she takes it off, you can see her two cat-like ears. She usually stays at the Tama-Cafe with her pet friends, Doremitchi and Sopratchi. She cares a lot about her parents, even when she's far away. Melodytchi loves sweets and sometimes argues with Kuchipatchi over a cookie. She has a special violin called the "Melody Violin," which she plays in all her shows. The Queen of Melody Land gave her this violin, and Melodytchi calls it "My Friend" because it has a spirit inside!
Melodytchi was away when Mametchi and his friends moved to Dream Town, but she came back in GO-GO Tamagotchi! and became friends with Pianitchi.
Moriritchi
Moriritchi is one of the owners of the Tamamori Shop and the younger sister of Anemoriritchi. She's also one of Lovelitchi's best friends, born on September 21. Moriritchi is a very active, bright, and cheerful girl. She's super good at "Tamamori," a type of cute fashion in Tamagotchi Planet, and she uses it to cheer up her friends. She has long, floppy ears that she ties into a fluffy cone shape and decorates with hearts.
She always carries her camera, Pashalin, on her ears, and they have a great friendship. Moriritchi was away when Mametchi and his friends moved to Dream Town, but she came back in GO-GO Tamagotchi! and became friends with Coffretchi and Candy Paku Paku.
Pashalin
Pashalin is Moriritchi's special digital camera. She was first made in Antique Town by an inventor named Firumutchi, but she didn't work at first. Then, Mametchi accidentally brought her to life while trying to fix her! Since then, Pashalin has been Moriritchi's friend. She has the same cheerful personality as Moriritchi and often copies what Moriritchi says. She loves riding on Moriritchi's ears. Moriritchi's sister, Anemoriritchi, doesn't like Pashalin because Pashalin has embarrassing photos of her!
Spacytchi
Spacytchi is the leader of the "Spacy Brothers," a group that includes Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi. They came from another planet to try and take over Tamagotchi Planet! Spacytchi is very determined, stubborn, and a bit selfish, but he tries to act nice to others. Even though he wants to conquer the planet, his plans always fail in a funny way. He can get angry with his brothers, but he does care about them. Spacytchi claims aliens don't exist, even though he is one! Despite his selfish side, he can be kind and sometimes becomes friends with Mametchi and the others at school. He has a crush on Himespetchi, but she doesn't seem to notice him.
He and his brothers left near the end of the first series but appeared again in Dream Town.
Akaspetchi
Akaspetchi is a member of the Spacy Brothers. He's very smart and mature, and also friendly, but he can be just as mischievous as Spacytchi. He looks up to Spacytchi and often worries about things, sometimes panicking. Spacytchi often tells him to stop talking. Akaspetchi calls Spacytchi "Aniki" (which means big brother) and often ends his sentences with "de yansu." He has a crush on Imotchi and likes to talk to her.
He and his brothers left near the end of the first series but appeared again in Dream Town.
Pipospetchi
Pipospetchi is another member of the Spacy Brothers. He's very kind and sweet, but he's also the most dangerous of the group when they're planning their world domination! He has incredibly strong powers and can lift very heavy things. He sometimes sneaks away from his brothers to do things himself, and his plans often work! He doesn't talk normally; he speaks like a computer. It seems he has a crush on Chamametchi, and she's one of the few who can understand what he's saying.
He and his brothers left near the end of the first series but appeared again in Dream Town.
Himespetchi
Himespetchi is a princess from another planet, similar to where the Spacy Brothers came from. She was born on February 14. She came to Tamagotchi Planet to study for six months. Himespetchi loves to cook and is very romantic, often daydreaming about Mametchi. She even likes his bad singing! She tries to keep her crush a secret, but she's not very good at it, especially when she's around Mametchi. Himespetchi is friendly and outgoing, but she gets shy around Mametchi. She also tends to show up at the wrong time, especially when Mametchi is with other girls, which makes her sad. Spacytchi has a crush on her, but she's not interested. Himespetchi knew Spacytchi when they were little on their home planet. She's scared of slugs and snails and says "Gigakyun" or "Gigashyun" when she's embarrassed. She uses her "Himespe Phone" to try and predict the future and win Mametchi's heart.
She also moved to Dream Town to be with Mametchi and finish her studies. She plays the drums for the Kira Kira Girls. Later, her parents told her to return home, and she left Tamagotchi Planet. But she made a comeback in GO-GO Tamagotchi!
Tamagotchi Town
