The mayor of Carrboro is the main leader of the town of Carrboro in North Carolina, United States. This important job has existed since 1911, when Carrboro first became a town (it was called Venable back then!).
The mayor works with the town council to make decisions for Carrboro. The mayor serves for two years. There are also six council members who serve for four years, with their terms starting at different times. The current mayor is Barbara Foushee, who started in 2023.
