- Rupert Murdoch
* A powerful media owner from Australia and America, Rupert Murdoch, was pied on July 19, 2011. This happened in London while he was giving evidence to a Parliament committee. The pie was thrown by Jonnie Marbles.
- Yolanda Barcina
* The President of the Chartered Community of Navarre (a region in Spain) was pied on October 27, 2011. This happened in Toulouse, France, during a council meeting. The pie was thrown by members of the Mugitu! movement, who were protesting a high-speed rail line.

* The leader of the Sweden Democrats political party was pied on November 5, 2013, during a book signing in Stockholm, Sweden. The person who threw the pie was Irene Matkowitzc. Interestingly, she was later pied by supporters of Åkesson!
- Michael O'Leary
* The CEO of the airline Ryanair was pied on September 7, 2023, during a press conference in Brussels, Belgium. The pies were thrown by climate activists.

- New York Yankees Players
* Sometimes, even sports teams have their own "pieing" traditions! The New York Yankees baseball team had a fun tradition where pitcher A.J. Burnett would "pie" his teammates after they hit a game-winning home run. This happened to players like Melky Cabrera (twice in 2009), Robinson Canó (in 2009), Johnny Damon (in 2009), Hideki Matsui (in 2009), Jerry Hairston Jr. (in 2009), Alex Rodriguez (twice in 2009), and Nick Swisher (in 2009). - Sylvester Stallone
* The famous action movie star was pied on July 28, 1998. He was at the grand opening of a Planet Hollywood restaurant in Montreal, Canada, when members of a group called Les Entartistes threw a pie at him.
- Lucy Liu
* The actress Lucy Liu had a pie thrown at her on January 29, 2013, during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. This was part of a comedy skit, and both she and Jimmy Fallon were involved in the fun!

* A singer and activist who spoke out against gay rights was pied on October 14, 1977, during a press conference in Des Moines, Iowa. The pie was thrown by Thom Higgins.
- Jeremy Clarkson

- Lierre Keith
