A Provost is like the main leader or mayor of a town or city in Scotland. They are chosen by the local council to represent the city and lead important meetings. This page lists the people who have served as Provost of Inverness, a historic city in Scotland.

In 2012, there was a change in how Inverness was led. A new role called "leader of the city" was created. This person works alongside the Provost. Ian Brown was the first person to take on this new role on August 13, 2012.
