- Hurricane Ophelia (2005) was a slow-moving storm. It hit the coast of North Carolina in the United States.
- Hurricane Ophelia (2011) was a very strong storm, reaching Category 4 strength. It brought strong winds and rain to Bermuda and later affected Newfoundland as it moved north.

Ophelia in the Southwest Pacific
Three cyclones named Ophelia have formed in the Southwest Pacific Ocean, near Australia.
