Welcome to Leicester! This page is all about the tallest buildings and structures in our city, Leicester, in the United Kingdom. We'll explore which buildings reach the highest into the sky.

The very tallest building in Leicester is the Cardinal Telephone Exchange. It's about 50 years old and has 17 floors, reaching up to 84 meters (that's about 275 feet!). If you include its antennae, it's even taller, around 95 meters (311 feet). Back in 2012, it was the 54th tallest building in the entire United Kingdom!

Imagine if a new building called the Westbridge Hotel Tower gets built. It's planned to be 117 meters (384 feet) tall, which would make it the new tallest building in Leicester. Another super tall building is The Summit. It's a student home with 22 floors and is 67 meters (220 feet) tall. It became the third tallest building in the city when it was finished in 2013. In total, Leicester has twelve buildings that are 50 meters (164 feet) or taller!
